What I’m looking for isn’t included in what you’ve listed above. Should I inquire anyway?

Yes, please do! The above list is just a summary to get us started, so while I may not have mentioned exactly what you’re looking for on this page (you’d be scrolling for a while if I did…), that doesn’t mean I can’t help.

Here is where you can send me a quick message to discuss your specific content needs.

I’m not happy with what my previous content writer/copywriter delivered. Can you do something about it?

Absolutely! Also, I’m very sorry to hear about your bad experience elsewhere. But don’t fret about it anymore because I’m ready to consult on, review, adjust, and even re-write what you’ve got until you’re 100% confident to hit publish (or go to print).

Can you upload content to my website for me?

Sure, but only if it’s a content management system I’m familiar with. Please note that you will be charged a separate fee for the service of uploading, formatting, and publishing content on your behalf.

Will you supply me with images/graphics? What about design work?

No, but I’d be more than happy to share some excellent resources with you.

Project scheduling

What is your availability?

It changes all the time! For my current availability and scheduling considerations, please drop me a line.

How long will it take you to complete my project?

Some projects can take as little as 3-5 days, others several weeks. It depends on various factors such as your project’s type, size, and complexity; how quick you respond to my emails; as well as my workload at the time you commission your project. Because I work on a first-come, first-served basis, I recommend confirming your project as soon as possible.

My copywriting project has an urgent deadline. Can you help?

I want to! Please send me an email with as much information about your project as possible, so I can get back to you with my availability as well as a quote ASAP.

Rates, discounts, and copywriting packages

I’m a solopreneur/small business owner. Can I afford you?

Thanks for considering me for your project. Also, you’re in the right place! As an independent freelancer myself, I can sincerely say that I know the value of your hard-earned dollar. That’s why my rates are modest and fair—and why I keep them that way (even when everyone else raises theirs). Please get in touch for a no-obligation quote.

Do you offer discounts or special promotions?

You bet I do! Check out my packages page for the latest offers, budget-friendly bundles, and most-requested copywriting packages.

Can you write a free sample for me?

No. I need to earn a living and that means I have to use my time wisely. I’m happy to send you samples of my writing instead, so you can assess if we’re a good fit going forward.

How much will my project cost?

Please send me an email to request a quote.

Do you charge by the word or hour?

Neither. I charge by the project and that means no nasty billing surprises—ever! Basically, whatever I quote you, that’s what you’ll pay. The only time this will change is if there’s been a change in your brief, requirements, or deadline. You will always be informed of this in advance, so you can decide whether you want to proceed or stick to the original plan.

Do you charge more for rush projects?

Yes. Urgent projects will incur a rush fee amounting to 100% of the total project cost.

Is the quote you sent me still valid?

Quotes are valid for 30 days. If you need more than 4 weeks to decide if you want to hire me, please check in with me again just to make sure the terms and conditions still apply.

Getting started and what to expect

I’m ready to hire you for my content writing/copywriting project. How do we get started?

Yay, happy to have you on board! Our next steps involve signing my project agreement and settling the required advance payment—then it’s full speed ahead.

Are you willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?

My project agreement already has a built-in clause covering confidentiality but I’m happy to sign an NDA if needed and where reasonable.

What information do you need from me?

It depends on your project, which is why I’ll provide you with a list of project-specific, brand-focused, and audience-related questions you’ll have to answer before I start writing.

How will we communicate throughout the copywriting process?

I prefer email but we can also meet on Skype, Google Meet, Zoom and, in special cases, over the LINE app.

What if I need to make changes to my copywriting brief or to the project as a whole?

So, that’s a great question. And the short answer is it really depends on what kind of changes you want to make and the scope of those changes.

Before I start working: No problem. We’ll just update the quote and any terms & conditions accordingly to reflect your desired changes. We’ll also have to confirm our new turnaround time.

If I’ve already started working: Every project comes with a certain number of revisions included in the quoted price. Those are normally more than enough to ensure you’re happy with the final product. For anything extra or a total change in project brief, we’ll have to discuss the mechanics of what you have in mind first. This would normally also mean re-confirming our scheduled delivery date.

Something’s come up. Can I cancel my project?

That’s your right although I’ll be very sad to see you go… So, before you cancel, let’s take a few minutes to talk. I’m positive we can resolve whatever is causing you to change your mind at the last moment.

If you choose to cancel anyway, please bear in mind that the down payment you paid is non-refundable. This is largely because I will have already undertaken work on your project behind the scenes such as, but not limited to, research, brainstorming, content planning, etc. Equally, in taking your project on, I would have had to turn someone else’s project down. Cancelling after you’ve commissioned me for a project means losing out on other definite sources of income.

Who owns the copyright(s) to my content/copy?

Once a project is paid for in full, copyright is automatically transferred to you.

Payment

What are your payment terms?

Standard terms apply for most projects and that is a 50% down payment to get started and the remaining 50% on completion. Some projects will require payment in full up front* while others, particularly in the case of long-term clients with a proven track record of paying on time, can be shifted to a single payment on completion.

*For example: If your bank imposes a minimum transfer amount and for certain rush projects.

Do you always require a deposit?

99.9% of the time, yes—especially if you’re a new client. But if we’ve known each other for a long time and we’ve not encountered any payment delays or complications, then I’m happy to waive the deposit requirement.

What is the mode of payment?

I only accept payment via bank transfer. Depending on where you live, bank transfer is also known as wire transfer, bank-to-bank transfer, or international wire transfer. Basically, it’s a payment made from your bank account straight to mine with our banks acting as the intermediary/service provider.

Do you accept Venmo/PayPal/Stripe/Credit card?

No. Please get in touch with me if you wish to discuss other options.

Is there a late payment fee?

Yes. Like you, I rely on timely and complete payments to settle my own bills, so please pay by the indicated due date. ? The late payment fee is outlined in the project agreement.

Other questions

Have you written copy for my industry/in my desired style before?

Maybe? I’m a pet copywriter, hotel copywriter, food copywriter, travel business copywriter, health & wellness copywriter most of the time but I’m a generalist at heart. That means, whatever your business, whatever your industry, I’ll deliver made-for-your-audience copy that gets you closer to your marketing goals. At the end of the day, conversion copywriting comes down to research, getting to know you (the client) and your market, and then putting everything I’ve learnt about consumer behavior (psychology) and marketing to good use to get people to take action. Well, that’s the TL;DR version anyway. So yeah, give me a shot—I’m confident you’ll be happy with the results.

Can I hire you on an ongoing/recurring basis?

Of course! If you need a steady stream of fresh content—weekly, monthly, quarterly—for your blog and email campaigns, just let me know.

Do you offer multilingual copywriting services?

Yes, I offer German-to-English content and copywriting. So if you’re a German/Austrian/Swiss company in need of English-language content or copy, get in touch today.

I sent you an email but haven’t heard back. What gives?

Oh no… Kindly check your spam/junk box and make sure you add hello@radiantcopywriting.com to your address book to prevent any communication delays.
